Hello Everyone,
Thanks if you came to the first meeting! Here are some key updates that were presented:
Become a member by registering yourself on the Homestead FBLA website: hhsfbla.com!! Click "Join Now" and then simply fill in your account information. Dues are currently at a special amount of $11 and should be turned in to A207. They will rise to $15 after September 28th, so be sure to register early!
If are interested in purchasing a t-shirt, you can buy it during registration through our special membership/t-shirt deal, in which you buy both for a special price of $20 ($11 membership, $9 t-shirt). If you do not buy a t-shirt when registering, the cost of the t-shirt is $10, and you can make your purchase with Mr. Lee in A207.
I hope to see you at our first Ice Cream Social of the year on Wednesday (tomorrow) during lunch in A207. Bring $1 to purchase a big bowl of ice cream with toppings and meet other cool people in FBLA! Our next meeting will be in two weeks on September 14th at Lunch in A207. I hope to see you tomorrow!

New Members:Please register online. You will receive a confirmation email after you've registered. Then, pay your $11 membership dues (or get membership and an FBLA T-shirt for $20), and congratulations, you're a member of FBLA! Returning Members: If you were a member last year, we sent you an email to confirm your registration. Hey FBLA Members! It's been a great year in FBLA in terms of competitions, projects, and overall involvement. Congratulations to all those competitors that have competed, especially to those who qualified for Nationals! You will be representing not only Homestead FBLA, but California FBLA as well, so be sure to practice and study before Nationals! I've really enjoyed being your VP of Technology for this year - it has been an amazing experience that has taught me a lot about not only technology and about business too. I hope that all of you members will come back next year and continue to be involved in FBLA, as it will truly teach you a lot! The website will be down over the summer for revamping; check back around August-September to see the new website. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at the FBLA Banquet!
